The OATEY PVC Fast Set Heavy-Duty Gray Cement is tailored for DWV, potable water, and irrigation applications, offering fast setting capabilities for quick installation. This heavy-duty cement is designed to effectively bond PVC pipe and fittings, including large diameter and loose fitting joints. It features a medium viscosity that allows it to fill gaps, ensuring a secure weld. The cement comes with an in-lid dauber for easy application and can solvent weld all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 18 inches in diameter for non-pressure applications and up to 12 inches in diameter for pressure pipes. It is recommended for use in temperatures ranging from 40°F to 110°F (4°C to 43°C). Certified to UL GREENGUARD Gold standards for low VOC emissions, this cement meets California SCAQMD and ASTM D2564 requirements, as well as NSF/ANSI 61 health effects standards.
